New Delhi: Struggling Finnish cellphone maker Nokia unveiled two new cellphone models, the Asha 205 and the Asha 206, pricing both models at around $62, excluding subsidies and taxes. The Nokia Asha 205 and Nokia 206 are both available in single SIM or dual SIM versions. Both models will go on sale this quarter. Nokia unveiled a new Slam feature which allows consumers to share multimedia content like photos and videos with nearby friends almost instantly through Bluetooth connection. The Nokia Asha 205 and Nokia 206 are the first Mobile Phones devices to include Nokia's exclusive Slam feature. Slam works with most Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones without the need to pair devices, and without the recipient needing to also have Slam. However, Slam is currently not compatible with iOS and Windows Phone devices.

Looks like administrators of Nokia’s Indian website have jumped the gun before official announcement, publishing the details of a new Series 40affordable dual-SIM phone Nokia 114 over the website.
Nokia 114 share same core specs and design with recently lunched Nokia 109 feature phone. Both have identical 65K color screens with resolution of 128 x 160px with a 1.8-inch diagonals. The 114 however, adds the extra Dual SIM functionality plus a handful of other extras features.

So far the Nokia 114 product page is only live on Nokia’s Indian website. There is no information on the website regarding its launch schedule and pricing, but you can expect more details in upcoming days.
Late last month, Nokia announced two handsets from the Asha series, the 205 and 206. But it appears the Finnish company has no intention of stopping with product introductions before the year ends. Nokia is currently showing off the Nokia 114, a dual-SIM handset boasting of Facebook on the go, on its India website.
The Nokia 114 has a 65k colour 1.7-inch display, and comes equipped with the Nokia Browser. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v2.1, GPRS and EDGE. The handset comes with an SD card slot that can support a microSD card with a capacity of up to 32 GB. The handset comes with internal memory of 16 MB and the mass memory mentioned in the specification list is 64 MB. The Nokia 114 uses a 1020 mAh battery. The highlighted feature of this handset is that it comes with dual-SIM capabilities and supports GSM networks.

The Nokia 114 comes loaded with the usual personal information management features such as dictionary, digital clock, recorder, calculator, etc. and also has a few Java games. It also has a 0.3 megapixel camera that can capture images of up to 640 x 480 pixels. The camera features a 4x digital zoom and the aperture found here is f/2.4.
As of now, there is no word on the pricing of the handset in India. We have reached out to Nokia regarding the same and they have stated that more details regarding the pricing and availability would be disclosed in the near future.

A trend that has as yet failed to hit its mark, smartphone connected watches have been on show yet again at CES 2013 where we have gone hands-on with the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA, looking at the wrist wear’s user alerts and handy location features.
A user experience improving wearable gadget first, a stylish, desirable watch second, the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA sees new meet old as the Japanese manufacturer brings the wristwatch into the modern era, syncing the unit to a smartphone in order to alert users to incoming calls and messages as well as telling them where their handset is located.

Unlike some smart watches on the market, the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA is built on the backing of strong watch making heritage, ensuring that as a fashionable timepiece the device is on the money and not just a futuristic looking addition that has heads turning for all the wrong reasons.
Again unlike many of its rivals, the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA smartwatch does not play host to a touchscreen interface, instead opting for a traditional digital watch style display with physical controls. Having tested a number of the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA’s features, we can safely say that the handset connecting smartwatch does what it says on the tin, alerting us during our hands-on with the device to upcoming calls, notifying us when moving out of range of the connected phone, and helping us locate the handset when hidden.
Syncing with the desired and compatible smartphone, such as the iPhone 5, via the low powered Bluetooth 4.0 connection, Casio has suggested that the watch will be able to run and carry out its alerting tasks for two years which the need to charge or replace its standard watch battery.
A feature that sounds too good to be true, we have been unable to test Casio on its claims as yet but stay tuned for a full Casio G-Shock GB6900AA review in the near future for a more in-depth look at the device’s battery usage.

With call and mail alerts being displayed directly on the watch’s face, the Casio G-Shock GB900AA is brilliant for those who often have their phone on silent, not only displaying an ‘Incoming Call’ message on the screen, but vibrating on our wrist to further notify us of the attempted communication. With mail alerts following a similar vein, the Casio smartwatch helps reduce the risk of missing calls and communications.
What’s more, the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA, which of course uses its display primarily to tell the time and which features a handy integrated light letting you see at night, can works in reverse, sending a signal to your handset at the touch of a button to locate the device if misplaced.
Whilst this ‘find my phone’ feature worked well during our hands-on with the Casio G-Shock GB6900AA watch, causing the connected handset to ring, further testing will again be required during the full review at a later date to discover the true usefulness of this ability, based on range and ability to work in less staged situations.

It has a 1 Ghz Dual Core Krait Processor, with 512 MB of RAM & Adreno 305 GPU for Gaming. It has internal storage of 4 GB of Which 1.6 GB is usable. It also has a micro SD slot which supports up to 32 GB of memory. It has a 1700 Mah lithium polymer battery The phone supports Wifi 802.11/b/g/n. it also supports 3G. It doesn’t have a front camera for Skype or video calls which is a big drawback. It supports a Micro-sim. The form factor of the phone is pretty strong and robust. It feels good in the hands. The user interface if the Windows phone 8 is beautiful & fun to use. The beats audio enhances the music quality & gives out a rich clear sound with pure bass. The camera shutter button is an added advantage. The camera is good even in low lighting. The phone is good with its features but there are a few big drawbacks. Firstly there is no front camera. With Skype integrated for windows, video calling won’t be possible on this phone. Moreover it has just 4 GB of internal storage of which only 1.6 GB is usable. It also lacks NFC. HTC Windows Phone 8S arrives in the UK with a modest price tag
The HTC Windows Phone 8S has arrived at the UK scene and is already available in several stores (both real and online). The phone aims to provide affordable entry into the tile-filled world of Windows Phone 8. The best deal at the moment is offered by Three UK - you can grab the 8S for £180 off contract or free with a two-year contract starting from £17/month. This is for the Atlantic Blue model. Deliveries start Monday, December 10. Clove UK also carry the HTC 8S but they have put a £225 price tag on it. Expansys UK and Amazon UK both have it at £240. That's for the Blue model again, though Expansys has the other color options on pre-order. Argos has the phone too, but at £300. Suzuki has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, an updated version of the Grand Vitara, which was unveiled in the United Kingdom.
After the Japanese based automaker has decided to stop its operations in the United States, Suzuki is ending up in our news once again, this time with a refreshed version of the Suzuki Grand Vitara, which was recently launched in the United Kingdom. According to the car manufacturer, the updated Suzuki Grand Vitara will go on sale in the UK this month and it’s coming with a new front grille, a new front bumper, revised foglights, black accents on the headlights for the 5-door SZ5 models and 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels, depending on the version chosen. The 1.9 liter DDiS diesel engine has been upgraded for the 2013 model year and it’s now emitting lower CO2 from 179 g/km to 174 g/km. The fuel economy has been improved too, from 42.8 mpg UK to 41.5 mpg. A 16-inch temporary use spare wheel, with a 225/70 tire, has been added on the tailgate. This increased the length of the vehicle by 200 mm for the five-door and by 170 mm on the three-door models. Prices for the updated Grand Vitara start at 15,995 GBP.
